Gus suddenly gets nervous and says he doesn't want to read. So, Lionel reads to her instead, and tells the story of "How The Camel Got His Hump", by Rudyard Kipling. After he is done, Leona wants to hear it again, but wants Gus to read it this time. Gus refuses again, but Leona tries to force him, which makes him snap at her and runs off, feeling very "humphy". This makes Leona cry.

Notes and Trivia[]

  • This is the first appearance of Gus Bunny.
  • This is the second episode of the whole show without Fred Says, the first was Season 1 episode "Lionel's Antlers".
  • The Adventures of Cliff Hanger segment was reused from Season 1.
    • This is the first Season 2 episode that features a clip from Season 1.
  • There is no Martha Reader and The Vowelles segment in this episode, instead being replaced with a Robot Word Morph, but the Martha Reader and The Vowelles segment later appears in Bug Beard, But, Mama, But..., and Huff and Puff. This could either have been done due to time constraints or the short u segment had not yet been filmed or produced.
  • This is one of the many episodes of Season 2 that deals with a serious subject, This one being about a learning disability, The others being the following episode The Good Seed (Honesty) Zoop! Zoop! (Facing Fears) Five, Six, and Thistle Sticks (Friendship) But, Mama, But... (Missing Someone) Rats (Name Calling).
  • The Gray Hand appears at the end of the Seesaw Word Morph segment jumping the "h" to the beginning of the song Hung Up on H as it dissolves into the sun. This is cut in the episode Bobby the Hopping Robot, however, future episodes with the song still include the "h" bouncing into the screen.
  • This is one of the 3 episodes from Season 2 where there is no The Vowelles segment. The other 2 are: Bobby the Hopping Robot & Stop That Chicken!
  • This episode was last broadcasted on PBS in April 2009.
  • This episode aired the same day The Wiggles: Dance Party was released on VHS by Lyrick Studios in America.
  • Morals of Episode: Lots of people have learning disabilities, Not everyone knows how to read and some don't learn a certain age or point in their lives.
