SCENE 1 | It's just another day in the library, and Leona sees Lionel all tied up in ropes! Lionel says he's training to be an escape artist like Harry Houdini, and shows Leona his website. Lionel shows her "The Sunken Box Escape Trick" and how Houdini was wrapped in chains and dropped in the river in a box, which is the trick that he's going to do. When Leona questions that he doesn't have anything he needs for the trick, Lionel says that he's getting started and will work his way up to chains and boxes. He starts off with being tied in ropes and locked in a closet. Leona tells him that he needs magic words, but Lionel says that it takes skill to escape and not magic words. Leona closes the closet door... and runs off to find some magic words to free Lionel.

SCENE 2 (cont'd) | A group of monkeys are goofing around Lionel's closet when Leona comes back with the magic words. She tries to read them, but instantly gives up and says "pickle, tickle, do the trick", and opens the closet door. Lionel yells at her to close it again, and she does. Then she runs off to learn how to read the magic words. Theo and Cleo then pass by and hear Lionel thumping around again, and go to get a snack.

SCENE 4 | Leona is finally able to read the magic words on her own, but when she opens the closet door, Lionel isn't there, leading her to believe that the magic words made him disappear! She tells Theo and Cleo about the disaster, but then Click tells them that she has transported Lionel into the Houdini website. The lions then race over to the computer!
SCENE 4 (cont'd) | In the website, Lionel is inside the box talking to Houdini himself. Houdini has just taught Lionel how to escape the ropes, and that he must escape before the box is dropped in the river. Lionel then realizes what is about to happen and the lions tell Click to get him out of there! So Click takes him out of the website and back in the closet where she found him. They then run back to the closet, and Leona shows her parents that she can read the magic words. Right after that, Lionel pops out of the closet! Lionel says that Houdini has taught him to untie the ropes, but Leona thinks it was her magic words. So Lionel decides to learn a new trick to prove his point, Leona goes to get some new magic words, and Theo and Cleo go to get another snack.
Insert | Barnaby B. Busterfield III is tied in ropes as Walter and Clay think that he can escape using his "famous escape trick", but Busterfield says that he does not have one, so the pigeons leave. Busterfield recites the magic words from earlier, and the ropes magically disappear! Surprised, he dubs himself "The Great Bustini", and for his next trick, he makes all this disappear- the screen cuts to black and the episode ends!
