SCENE 1 | At the library, Cleo smells something unusual. It turns out to be a sad and dejected Babs Caplan, who has run out of ideas and needs new ones. Right on cue, a book of tongue-twisters falls from the balcony above (because Leona knocked it off), and she decides to write some. Lionel offers to test them out, as he claims that there isn't a tongue-twister he can't say. He first reads the ever-classic "Peter Piper" twister, which he recites flawlessly. No matter how fast Leona asks him to read it, his tongue doesn't get twisted. Babs goes off to write some more, and Leona offers to help, as she wants to see Lionel's tongue get twisted.
Insert | Walter and Clay Pigeon peck a peck of peppers as they chant "Peck, peck, peck. Peck a peck of peppers." The announcer tells them to say it faster, to which they do. Busterfield sarcastically remarks "Oh my, how entertaining."

SCENE 2 | In order to get Lionel to slip up, Babs and Leona change the words to "zickled zezzers". He recites it flawlessly the first time, but when they ask him to say it faster, he makes a mistake, causing his tounge to literally become twisted! He then claims that this wasn't fair, because "zickled zezzers" aren't real words. Realizing he's right, Babs goes to write another one, this time, with real words. They start off with replacing the z's with p's again.

Insert | The Gray Hand puts the "ep" back in the word "peppers".
SCENE 3 | Leona and Babs have changed the rhyme to a pickled pepper picking Peter Pipers. Lionel says it flawlessly the first time, once again, but when they ask him to say it faster, he says "pippled poopers" instead, causing his tongue to become twisted again! Lionel then decides to give up, and Leona and Babs gloat about winning until Cleo tells them not to. Leona asks Lionel if he's feeling "the agony of defeat", and Lionel announces that someday, he'll be back. Babs is excited as now she has entered a new career in writing "twong tisters".
Designated Reader | Cleo and Lionel read "The Adventures of Mississippi Skip and his Pirate Ship". (EKA: Episode 01: Pecos Bill Cleans Up the West) |

Notes and Trivia[]
- When the book falls off the balcony, the chicken says "The sky is falling!", a reference to Chicken Little.
- The chicken puppet appears to be recycled from Information Hen, with an added hairpiece.
- Leona asks Lionel if he feels "the agony of defeat", a phrase popularized by ABC's Wide World of Sports.
- This is the second time where the announcer says, "And now, it's time for..." over the "What's Cooking? with Theo and Cleo" theme song. The first was "Fuzzy Wuzzy, Wuzzy?."
- The robot words segment has the same bigger font as in The Popcorn Popper and Something Fishy.
- The What's Cooking? with Theo and Cleo segment is later seen in the Season 2 episode Quest, Quest, Quest!, which, coincidentally, also features an appearance by Babs Caplan.
