Lionel has found Leona, and the latter has found a book about the moon. Theo and Cleo, who have been awaken by the noise, tell them they should be in bed by now. Leona really wants to read the book and so they read it, in which a queen wants to touch the moon, and orders her servants to make a pile up to the moon so she can do so. Unfortunately, in the end she ends up falling to her death. Then they learn a moral: you can get into trouble if you think only about what you want, and don't watch what you're doing while trying to get it. Leona cannot sleep because the queen did not touch the moon, so Lionel decides he will make up his own story based on it that he claims will "fix everything".
