Cliff Hanger and the Kindly Kangaroo King is a book from The Adventures of Cliff Hanger series by Livingston Dangerously, for Adventure 1,826.

Story[]

Cliff Hanger, as always, is left hanging from a cliff. Then Cliff sees a king dangling a huge hook. According to the Survival Manual, if Cliff spots a king dangling a huge hook, ask him to rescue him. Cliff breaks the fourth wall by saying what a keen idea. So Cliff asked the king to bring him to safety and the king replied it would be great for his kingdom to serve him in the manner. When the king pulled Cliff up for safety, they walked away from the cliff and Cliff noticed that the king was a kangaroo and the king replies that they are kangaroos. But then, there was a fork and the king said it was time to depart. The king took the way to his castle while Cliff took the way that said CLIFF. So Cliff walked away and waved bye to the king but did not pay attention (as he did not know that the "CLIFF" sign led to a new cliff). So when Cliff followed the "CLIFF" sign, it brought him back to the edge of another cliff. As a result, he fell and went back on a branch and ended up back where he started from.

Tip from Cliff Hanger's Trusty Survival Manual[]
